- Ellu Urundai (Sesame Laddoo)
- Raw Materials:
- Sesame seeds – 1 cup
- Jaggery – ¾ cup
- Water – ¼ cup
- Yogiram Naturals Sesame Oil – 1 tsp (for greasing)
- Processing Method:
- Dry roast sesame seeds on low heat until they become golden and fragrant. Set aside to cool.
- Prepare jaggery syrup by melting jaggery in water and boiling until it reaches a sticky consistency (soft ball stage).
- Mix roasted sesame seeds into the syrup.
- Cooking Method:
- Grease hands with a little Yogiram Naturals Sesame Oil and shape the mixture into round laddoos while it’s still warm.
